Knowledge is Power is a grant used to offset the needs of 32,000+ Des Moines Public Schools students, staff and administration. By offering financial support through these funds, our community is better able to meet their basic needs. Families have had the opportunity to afford rent, pay medical bills and buy winter clothing. Teachers have purchased supplies and applied for program funding for students in their care. Access to these essential items ensures that students can continue attending school and receive a better education while they are there. With your donations and the dedication of DMPS, our students can truly be the difference in our community.
