Long Shots is an annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament for student athletes of the Des Moines metro that gives access to competition, extra-curricular activities, and community involvement without a financial obligation.
Support provided will cover expenses traditionally passed to participants through registration fees, including jerseys, hoodies, student athlete meal tickets for the day, basketball equipment, referees, art supplies, tent rental, and more!
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
5 Des Moines Metro high schools receive a $1,000 award from the event to begin an opportunity to pay it forward in their schools.
YOUTH SUPPORT
This event teaches students valuable lessons in how to support and care for their own communities as they become active citizens in the years to come.
